In the year 2020's summer it is still uneasy about the direction of the Rotary relationship between members. Though the mantra of hands face space' will undoubtedly continue to be a component of our program, it's clear that confidence is building and connections between face-to-face occur. Rotary is evolving. As we move into this summer there is a lot of doubt regarding how Rotary will offer the same level of human interaction that Rotary members had in the past continues. While the "hands looking outwards" principle is certain to be a part of the routine in the club, there's no doubt that a sense of confidence is developing, and more people have been able to make connections face-to-face. Rotary has also changed. Rotary is a network that helps build lasting relationships. The outbreak has forced us to improve our technological practices. Our business remains online while also reintroducing our social and service activity. These new possibilities have been paired with the lessons we have learned about our past pandemics to bring a fresh new outlook for Rotary. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75% of Rotary clubs plan to continue their "business regular" actions. During the summer the majority of Rotary club members have been seen with their families and friends, working on various projects including river and beach cleanings and litter pick-ups. While I'm extremely proud to see that Rotary continues to be a part of the Rotary Centre continues to support numerous community initiatives that help the people who are members of Rotary and keep them safe as well, compliance and insurance are vital. We're extremely proud of how creative our members have the potential to tackle the most difficult issues facing society. Rotary is also able to provide me with a great circle of friends that are like-minded. I am grateful for this.
